Nanosolar, Inc is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to develop relationships and close supply agreements of $20 million and greater with large PV project developers, independent power producers, and engineering, procurement and construction firms. The role includes joint selling with these PV Developers, IPPs and EPCs to commercial and industrial accounts as well as to military bases and utilities. 

This position is geared towards a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment; capable of developing existing relationships with our client base and has the vision and experience to identify growth opportunities with new accounts and market segments.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Meeting quarterly sales goals and sales pipeline metrics
• Researching and analyzing target IPPs and EPCs, and developing tactical execution plans for coverage of assigned accounts and/or market segments 
• Qualifying new prospects and performing customer needs assessments that map to Nanosolar’s strengths
• Developing and presenting customer focused product and service presentations 
• Leading and creating sales proposals to construct most favorable value proposition for both prospective customer and Nanosolar
• Collaborating with Nanosolar’s legal and finance teams to develop contract terms
• Assessing market conditions and customer feedback and working with Field Engineering and Product Management to identify necessary product and service offering improvements
• After-sale account management and customer service leading to future, repeat orders

Job Requirements
• Strong technical background, and experience in high-tech marketing or product management is an advantage
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work effectively on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience introducing new product and service offerings to a marketplace, and developing corresponding value propositions
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business relationships quickly and to close business on plan
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
• Demonstrated ability to manage and interface effectively with cross-functional employee groups of all levels and competencies
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills 
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to perform and interpret financial analysis and provide appropriate data and information 
• Ability to demonstrate photovoltaic industry expertise, and to understand and communicate financials objectives and transactions

Minimum Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: 
• Proven track record in complex and strategic sales spanning at least 7 years, selling $20M+/annum supply agreements or projects over 6-12 month sales cycles to first-time and repeat buyers for whom multiple stakeholders influenced the buying decision
• B.A./B.S. in a technical or financial discipline 
• Fluency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and a CRM system is preferred
• Formal training programs in sales, communication, negotiations and/or energy related products and services preferred
Compensation is competitive and may include base salary, performance and equity components.
