Sales Manager (Solar PV industry), Lyon, France

My client is one of the leading solar cell and module manufacturing companies, with a proven track record in this field. Their expertise is in end-to-end manufacturing lines for the mass production of thin film silicon solar modules.  As part of their expansion plans are looking to recruit an area sales manager for France.

Responsibilities:-

• Define price strategy for current and new products and help meet the corporate target gross margins
• Serve as primary contact to key accounts
• Manage executive level relationships with customer and drive sales within accounts
• Develop strategic corporate account plans and lead plan implementation across divisions
• Negotiating terms and closing deals
• Manage and recruit strategic partners, generate revenue from and maintaining senior management relationships with key distributors, system integrators and dealers
• Provide leadership to start-up residential and light commercial team from design to implementation of channel sales model including marketing, product offering, pricing and segmentation

Requirements:-

• You will have at least 2-5 years of sales experience, with an excellent track record in the solar space
• Must have strong educational background (Business Studies or similar dicispline, makreting or economics, MBA would be desirable)
• Candidates should have strong understanding of project based/solutions sales and/ or module sales background
• Excellent distributional channels within France
• Excellent understanding of solar PV industry
