Description

My client is one of the leading solar module manufacturers throughout the world. They are expanding their team rapidly internationally and have a strong focus on the European and US markets. The company offers high quality and competitive technology in order to grow their sales internationally.

 

Position Overview:

My client is looking to add a sales manager to their San Francisco office in order to develop and maintain relationships with customers and expand the growth of the company in the USA. You will be reporting directly to the VP of Sales in the US and joining a well established and recognised Chinese Company.

Responsibilities

  • ·         You will report directly to the Vice President of Sales with the US in order to achieve targets and set goals within the region
  • ·         Establish both market and target customer strategies for the market.
  • ·         You will use your strong sales skills and technical training to explain the key components of the product
  • ·         You will be required to developed relationships with new clients, negotiate and carry through the business process with key clients
  • ·         You will be responsible for developing and maintaining new customers in the market
  • ·         You will work closely with key clients and meet with them on regular occasions in order to maintain relationships and ensure that close ties between the companies remain
  • ·         You will need to have that ability to handle high work pressure and meet quarterly revenues and profit targets set by the solar module company
  • ·         As a team leader you will utilise your proven leadership abilities and the develop  team motivational tactics within the renewable energy company

Education

A relevant degree in either engineering with an MBA a bonus

Core Requirements

  • ·         At least 4-6 years of sales experience
  • ·         At least 2-3 years in Solar PV sales
  • ·         Be knowledgeable of the solar market and industry trends, competitors and the competitive landscape, and leading customer acquisition strategies
  • ·         Have experience in developing and executing tactical sales plans
  • ·         You will be required to travel internationally

  • ·         Be a demonstrated leader among employees
  • ·         Be highly computer literate
  • ·         Strong negotiating skills and capacity
  • ·         Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • ·         Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team

Key Skills:-

Solar PV/module sales experience, team leading, training and strong negotiation skills required
