Description

My client is a leading supplier of solar PV inverters throughout the US and Europe. They boasts revolutionary technology that reduces overall costs, increased energy efficiency and improved safety levels . They are currently in a rapid expansion faze within their company and are looking to appoint key positions across all levels of the organisation.

Position Overview:

My client is looking for a technically minded Solar PV sales manager.

Responsibilities

  • ·         This position will involve travelling within the California in order to attract new business for the renewable energy company
  • ·         You will use your strong sales skills and technical training to explain the key components of the product
  • ·         You will be required to developed relationships with new clients, negotiate and carry through the business process with key clients
  • ·         Train the customers on the product in order for them to best promote and utilize the solar system
  • ·         Close deals with clients and gaining strong connections during this process
  • ·         Perform to the highest standard in order to encourage brand awareness and quality awareness for the company
  • ·         Lead a team of sales consultants within the California market and encourage their sales through training and implementation of your sales techniques
  • ·         Work with company directors in order to best promote the product for the company

Education

A relevant degree in either engineering or business management is a bonus

Core Requirements

  • ·         At least 4-5 years experience in a sales role
    • ·         Experience working in the renewable energy market with a particular focus on the solar industry
    • ·         Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships
    • ·         Able and willing to travel throughout the California
    • ·         Experience leading and training a sales team a bonus

General requirements

  • ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
  • ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • ·         Strong presentation skills
  • ·         A desire to work in a target driven role

Key Skills:-

Solar PV sales experience, team leading, training and strong negotiation skills required
