My client is one of China’s leading manufacturers of solar modules, cells and wafers. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, global and well established company with a global reach and reputation as they are looking to strengthen their team in San Francisco, California with a new Sales Manager.

Position Overview:
As a Sales Manager for my client you will be required to sell my clients products throughout the North American market whilst build new client relationships and maintaining my clients existing key accounts. Reporting to the CSO (Chief Strategy Officer), you will be expected to achieve targets whilst setting goals within the region.

Responsibilities:-

  • ·         Capturing new market opportunities whilst meeting customer expectations
  • ·         Growing company market share
  • ·         Increasing revenues, profitability and cash flow for the company according to established KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • ·         Provide insight into market trends to help support the Business Development team
  • ·         Supporting marketing activities and market communications
  • ·         Building and demonstrating an understanding of the regional market and industry.
  • ·         Suggesting and implementing action plans for reaching the quarterly and annual targets of the company

Education:-

  • ·         A business related Bachelor’s degree or higher

Core Requirements:-

  • ·         2-3 years of experience selling into the solar industry
  • ·         A successful track record of hitting sales targets
  • ·         Experience in management with a view to becoming a team leader in the future
  • ·         Strong initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • ·         Excellent organizational skills
  • ·         A high level of customer awareness
  • ·         Strong negotiation skills
  • ·         Ability to travel frequently to visit existing and potential customers.
