My client is a rapidly expanding manufacturer of wind turbines who are moving into various markets on a global level. They have developed a globally recognised wind energy technology and are looking to rival the top 3 wind turbine manufacturers for orders next year.

Position Overview:
My client is looking for a technically minded sales manager to sell their wind turbine to the utilities, developers and independent developer. The position will require developing strong B2B relationships in order to expand the growth of the company.

Responsibilities
- This position will involve travelling throughout Latin America in order to attract new business for the sales of wind turbines to renewable energy companies
- You will use your strong sales skills and technical training to explain the key components of the product
- You will be required to developed relationships with new clients, negotiate and carry through the business process with key clients
- With a proven track record of closing deals with clients and gaining strong connections in the market you will develop and grow the business with the area
- Perform to the highest standard in order to encourage brand awareness and quality awareness for the company
- You will report directly to the Vice President of Sales with Latin America in order to achieve targets and set goals within the region

Education
A relevant degree in either engineering, environment or equivalent with an MBA a bonus.
Core Requirements
- At least 2-3 years experience in a sales or commercially focused role
- 1-3 years experience working in the wind industry
- Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships
- Able and willing to live and work in the Latin American region with no additional visa support

General requirements
- Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
- Strong presentation skills
- A desire to work in a target driven role

Key Skills:-
Wind turbine sales experience, project development, onshore wind, offshore wind, team leading, training and strong negotiation skills required
