My client specialises in the assessment and feasibility, design, installation, commissioning and testing of solar thermal and solar PV installations/projects.
Position Overview: The Commercial Sales Manager will be responsible for lead generation, customer relationship development, proposal development, contract preparation and negotiation in the UK.
Responsible for:-
- Seeking and building relationships with new commercial customers
- Pay visits to their clients on a monthly or even bi-weekly basis
- Conduct intensive follow up’s and meetings with new clients
- Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
- Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness
- Will be expected to proactively source new clientele and generate new revenue streams
- Negotiating terms and closing deals
Education:-
- Must have strong educational background (Batchelors)
Core Requirements:-
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Able to work independently to develop new side of business
- Relevant PV experience in the PV industry is essential (Minimum 7 months)
- Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
General Requirements:-

- Proficient with making impactful presentations
- Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
- Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies
