My client is a vertically-integrated manufacturer of PV cells, modules and custom-designed solar power applications. They deliver solar power products of uncompromising quality worldwide. They are one of the fastest growing companies in the solar industry. They operate across three continents, delivering solar modules to customers in over 30 countries today.

Position Overview:
Reporting to Region Sales Leader, maximize revenues. Area Includes: West Germany, BeNeLux, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich, North-East, North & East Germany, UK, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich.

Responsibilities:-

  • ·         Manages customer accounts in line with business strategy and marketing plan
  • ·         Manages and expands existing accounts and develops new accounts in order to sell company’s products
  • ·         Locates account’s decision makers and builds stable sales relationship
  • ·         Solves all commercial, technical and/or financial objections of the account
  • ·         Gathers, documents and analyses detailed account information
  • ·         Defines opportunities and sales proposals
  • ·         Analyses input from Sales Planning and Credit Management and revises offers accordingly
  • ·         Negotiates price, volume, contract terms and conditions with customer
  • ·         Closes deals and coordinates contracting
  • ·         Liaises with Order Fulfillment for product delivery, AR Management for collection and Sales Tech for customer care
  • ·         Ensures high customer satisfaction at all times
  • ·         Represents the company’s brand in front of sales accounts
  • ·         Creates awareness and demand for company products
  • ·         Ensures compliance with internal processes and policies and external regulation at all times
  • ·         Documents sales process and ensures high data accuracy
  • ·         Manages company risks involved in sales process

Education:-

  • ·         Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or comparable; Master’s degree a plus

Core Requirements:-

  • ·         Three or more years of experience in sales in PV market; PV module or inverter sales experience preferred
  • ·         Result-driven approach and ability to work autonomously
  • ·         Proactive attitude, high initiative to take on challenges and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • ·         Eagerness to learn and develop individual competencies
  • ·         High reliability and ability to work under pressure
  • ·         Excellent teamwork, communication and intercultural skills

General Requirements:-

  • ·         Ability to travel
  • ·         Proficient with making impactful presentations
  • ·         Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
  • ·         Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies

Key Skills:-

Solar PV, negotiations experience, sales experience and solar product (wafers, ingots, modules and/or inveters) sales experience.
