Description

My client is a globally recognised manufacturer of Solar PV systems. They have worked to develop the most technically advanced and efficient product to be used in the development of Solar projects. This company is looking to make a strong impact in the growing Italian market.

Core Criteria: My client is looking for a technically minded Solar PV sales manager.

Responsibilities

  • ·         This position will involve travelling within the Italy in order to attract new business for the renewable energy company
  • ·         You will use your strong sales skills and technical training to explain the key components of the product
  • ·         You will be required to developed relationships with new clients, negotiate and carry through the business process with key clients
  • ·         Train the customers on the product in order for them to best promote and utilize the solar system
  • ·         Close deals with clients and gaining strong connections during this process
  • ·         Perform to the highest standard in order to encourage brand awareness and quality awareness for the company
  • ·         Lead a team of sales consultants within the Italian market and encourage their sales through training and implementation of your sales techniques
  • ·         Work with company directors in order to best promote the product for the company

Education

A relevant degree in either engineering or business management

Core Requirements

At least 5+ years’ post-degree experience in a sales role

  • ·         Experience working in the renewable energy market with a particular focus on the solar industry
  • ·         Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • ·         Advanced spoken and written Italian
  • ·         Able and willing to travel throughout the Europe
  • ·         Experience leading and training a sales team

General requirements

  • ·         Ability to travel internationally
  • ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
  • ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • ·         Strong presentation skills
  • ·         A desire to work in a target driven role
