Sales Manager, Houston, USA, US$80-US$120 + Bonus + Commission.  My client is an exciting international company that is moving into the USA wind market.

My client is an exciting international company that is moving into the USA wind market. They have a global reputation for excellence and a proven track record of exceptional growth year on year. My client is involved in manufacturing developing and operating on and offshore wind farms and are looking to make the USA one of their next big markets.
Position Overview:
You will be responsible for developing relationships with key USA contacts in the wind market, promoting and developing relationships across the USA. This position reports directly into the Director of North America and provides a real opportunity for career progression and an international market knowledge.
Responsibilities:-
- You will have strong understanding of the customer base that my client is looking to work with
- Create sales opportunities, establish networks, `open doors` and be able to independently close on sales contracts
- Represent my client at trade fairs
- Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers in order to maintain ongoing relationships with the customer indicative of further sales for my client
- To co ordinate with the construction, services and financial team in order to see the sale of the product through the entire process
Education:-
Must be educated to BSc/MSc level in electrical/mechanical/civil engineering or relevant sales experience

Core Requirements:-
- You will have 1-2 years direct sales or business management experience
- Must have have at least 1-4 years experience in the wind industry 
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
- Must be living or able to live in Canada without any visa requirements

General Requirements:-
- Ability to travel frequently across the USA and also internationally as required
- You will be fluent in English
- You wil be a self starter with a proven track record working independently

Key Skills:-
Wind Industry, sales, business development, negotiations experience, wind turbines or wind developments in the USA
