Description

My Client is one of the leading solar PV module manufacturers, wholesalers and system providers. They have their own production lines across Europe and are very well known. They are looking to recruit a head of sales in Hannover, Germany.

Position Overview:
My client is looking for a Head of Sales Manager for PV modules sales. You will be responsible for sales of PV modules, inverters and systems.

Responsibilities:-
• Take the lead in revenue generation.
• Lead a team of field sales.
• Define sales and marketing strategies according to the region climate and market and in line with company guidelines.
• Establish and grow key relationships with new and existing customers
• Provide aftersales support to customers, resolve complaints and resolve sensitive situations
• Conduct market research and analysis to ensure that the business plan is moving in line with the market
• Coordinate with the project management, service & after sales and legal departments.
• Liaise with the technical department so as to be able to provide the best quality of advice and support to customers
• Source new clients to generate new streams of revenue

Education:-
• Bachelors Degree in Business Management or related field of study

Core Requirements:-
• Strong sales experience: ideally has worked in a sales role in a PV industrial organization with progressive experiences
• Solid working knowledge of sales, business development, and account management
• Excellent negotiation skills and be able to communicate with customers at all levels
• Strong customer relationship skills, ability to grow and retain accounts, build relationships, quickly spot and communicate potential risks and issues

General Requirements:-
• Ability to travel frequently
• Proficient with making impactful presentations
• Good oral and written communications skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
• Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies
• Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment, willingness to be an active participant in a team environment and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects

Key Skills: Solar PV, negotiations experience, business development and sales in solar business, team leadership
