My client is one of the top 5 wind turbine manufacturers worldwide. They are aggressively expanding their portfolio across Europe and the US and are now looking for a Sales Manager to oversee their product sales throughout the US. This is an exceptional opportunity for a young sales manager to join a world leading OEM manufacturing in their start up for the US.
Core Criteria: My client is looking to recruit a Sales Manager to help grow their business throughout the USA. Reporting to the Sales Director, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a start up with the financial backing and pedigree of a global giant, selling their state of the art wind turbines across the US.
Responsibilities:-
- · Help develop and implement strategic sales plans, forecasts and performance goals to achieve corporate objectives for wind turbine sales
- · Help manage performance of sales management and representative organizations
- · Take part in monthly sales forecasts and sales strategies for all of the central US area
- · Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness
- · Establishing a long-term business platform in the US
- · Coordinate with the Sales Director in managing the entire sales operations in your region
- · Take part in negotiations of terms and conditions with developers across the US
- · Help direct their turbine sales operation in the US and work closely with the international team to best expand my clients growth
- · Ensure all deals meet revenue and margin expectations for the wind energy company and that your team is performing within the framework of the company
Education:-
Must have a good educational background in either business or civil or mechanical or electrical engineering
Core Requirements:-
- 2-3 years of wind turbine sales experience in the USA
- · You must have a proven ability and temperament to work on long term contracts
- · An excellent understanding of regulatory requirements in the wind industry in the US
- · Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
- · Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization and work closely with Director level managers in a large international company
General Requirements:-
- · Proficient with making impactful presentations and managing a team of high level employees
- Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies
Key Skills:-
Onshore wind, sales of wind turbines, negotiations experience, business development, exceptional team leadership skills, experience with complex contact negotiations and complex stakeholder and customer management experience.
