Description

My client is an independent consultancy business in the renewable energy and energy efficiency space. They offer technical guidance and services for project developers and utilities companies world-wide. They also offer a range of software products that improve the performance of renewable energy plants and assess the energy efficiency in buildings.

This particular division provides software based solutions to monitor industrial solar and wind farms

Internationally.  As part of their overall growth strategy they now need a Sales Executive to sell software products internationally.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director you will be responsible for selling new products to existing customers as well as identifying new clients in order to grow the business. You will negotiate high end deals with large organisations and increase sales in-line with the company forcast.

Responsibilities:-

  • ·         Build a high profitability customer network
  • ·         Pitch end-to-end solutions to senior executives
  • ·         Represent the company at trade fairs
  • ·         Work closely with marketing, project and technical teams
  • ·         Maximise revenue through new orders as well as up selling on existing accounts
  • ·         Manage key accounts

Education:-

  • ·         Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in commercial engineering, or related subject, or equivilant experience

Core Requirements:-

  • At least 5 years experience working in high tech or renewable energy environment
  • Proven track record in selling high tech solutions to senior executives
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems
  • Additional European languages beneficial

General Requirements:-

  • Ability to travel internationally up to 50%
  • ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation
  • ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • ·         Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
