Sales Engineer – Water professionals

Based in NSW, our client is an established and well-regarded company specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of water control infrastructure. This incorporates gates/penstocks, metering, irrigation solutions and telemetry monitoring & control.

As a business they have been recognised with both state and national achievement awards. They are a family-owned business that attract and retain excellent staff. With low staff-turnover and an excellent outlook for the next 3-5 years, they seek an experienced water professional with a natural gift for sales.

Working ideally from Melbourne (but with the potential to work out of another capital city), you will be required to advise on and sell the company’s products to the water industry. This will involve liaising with estimators and other water construction professionals on a day to day basis. Projects include:

•    Environmental
•    Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants
•    Flood Mitigation
•    Bulk Water Regulation
•    Screens
•    Metering
•    Desalination

In order to be considered for this role, you will ideally have tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction. Essential will be a strong background in water projects (as listed above) with a particular emphasis on the understanding of Sewerage Treatment Plants. Whilst a history of sales is not essential, the successful incumbent will have to display a predisposition to a sales environment.

In return for your skills and experience, a salary in the range of $70-90k + super + bonuses will be on offer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of Australia’s leading water control infrastructure groups in a challenging and rewarding role.
