My client is a global manufacturer and integrator of solar panels, wafers and solar cell products. They have operations spanning across America and Europe. As part of their expansion in the US, they are looking for an experienced sales director to be based in the East Coast.
Responsibilities:-
- Open up new markets and sign major contracts
- Define price strategy for current and new products and help meet the corporate target gross margins
- Serve as primary contact to key accounts
- Manage executive level relationships with customer and drive sales within accounts
- Develop strategic corporate account plans and lead plan implementation across divisions
- Identify market potential; initiate sales process; close sales; expand sales in new and existing accounts; contribute information to market strategy and recommend new products and services
- Negotiating terms and closing deals
- Manage and recruit strategic partners, generate revenue from and maintaining senior management relationships with key distributors, system integrators and dealers
- Provide leadership to start-up residential and light commercial team from design to implementation of channel sales model including marketing, product offering, pricing and segmentation
Requirements:-
- You will have at least 5 years of account management experience, with an excellent track record
- Must have strong educational background (Business Studies or similar dicispline, makreting or economics, MBA would be desirable)
- Candidates should have strong understanding of power purchase agreements and a project based/solutions sales background
- Excellent distributional channels within the US and international markets
- Experience in leading a team( strong advantage )
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing solar modules
