Sales Director Renewable (Wind) Energy Industry, South East, UK

My Client is the market leader in the growing wind energy industry. They aim to provide world class safety standards, have the most satisfied customers, develop the best performing wind power plants and the most environmentally friendly. As part of their UK growth are looking for a sales director to join their team.

 Responsibilities:-

• Handle the commercial and technical negotiation for turbines and turnkey wind farms contracts.
• Responsible ensuring corporate conditions and financial margins achieved.
• Management of contractors for turnkey wind farm proposals from tender to the award of the contract.
• Negotiation of customer specific service and support contracts
• Serve as primary contact to key accounts
• Manage executive level relationships with customer and drive sales within accounts
• Negotiating terms and closing deals

Requirements:-

• You will have at least 5 years of complete turnkey solution sales experience, with an excellent track record
• Must have strong educational background (Business Studies or similar dicispline, makreting or economics, MBA would be desirable)
• Experience in leading a team( strong advantage )
• Excellent understanding of onshore and offshore wind project sales
• Willing to travel to meet clients
