My client is a leading global company who are one of the largest OEM manufacturers of wind turbines in the world. They have a strong market presence throughout Europe and the US and are now looking for a Sales Director to oversee all product sales throughout the UK.


Core Criteria:
My client is
looking to recruit a Sales Director to oversee all of the UK. This is an exceptional opportunity with a global leader, reporting directly to General Manager where you will be key part of their expansion plans throughout the UK market.

 

Responsibilities:-

 

  • ·         Develop and implement strategic sales plans, forecasts and performance goals to achieve corporate objectives for offshore turbine sales
  • ·         Develop and manage sales operating budgets.  Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements
  • ·         Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
  • ·         Demonstrate ability to lead Sales team towards results
  • ·         Manage performance of sales management and representative organizations
  • ·         Full authority to represent them in all matters relating to securing future orders for wind turbines in the US regions covered
  • ·         Coordinate the senior sales team, managing the entire sales operations throughout the UK

 

Education:-

Must have an exceptional educational background in either Business or alternatively Electrical or Mechanical or Civil Engineering

 

Core Requirements:-

  • You will have at least 3 years of Senior/Director level sales experience, with a proven track record in the wind sector with one or more top tier OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers)
  • ·         You must have overseen large scale multi million Pound(£) turbine sales
  • ·         You must have a proven ability and temperament to work on long term contracts

 

General Requirements:-

  • Ability to travel
  • ·         Proficient with making impactful presentations and managing a team of high level employees
  • Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies

 

Key Skills:-

Offshore wind, sales of wind turbines, negotiations experience, business development, exceptional team leadership skills, experience with complex contact negotiations and complex stakeholder and customer management experience
