My client is a leading wind turbine manufacturer. They are a dominate force in the supply of on and offshore wind turbine and are renowned for their unmatched quality.  As the major player in the offshore wind market my client is a wind company that can offer exciting opportunities in the wind sector. They have manufactured and installed a large number of the wind developments internationally in both the on and offshore wind market. They are a strong customer focused company who aims to work at the highest level and ensure that their company name remains a recognised brand in the wind sector.

Position overview:

You will work with the senior sales managers as part of the sales team and be involved in the co ordination of the sales team. You will be responsible for the assigned annual commercial targets, obtaining sales agreements and supplying wind turbines to customers

Responsibilities:-

  •          Monitoring and controlling of the commercial targets, in terms of sales of megawatts, for the assigned geographical area
  •          You will be part of a team that develops relationships and manages relationships with clients
  •          You will have strong market connections in the wind industry and an understanding of the customer base that my client is looking to work with
  •          You will be informed in the regarding my clients main competitor and conduct market analysis that leads to in depth knowledge of the major competitors.
  •          Participation in professional trade fairs related to the wind industry
  •          Knowledge of the assigned area´s market development in the long and the short term
  •          Manage and understand the trade and legal framework for commercial and wind energy activity
  •          You will work closely with the technical and sales team throughout the region in order to ensure that agreements are clear and concise and that the customer has the appropriate information required to make a positive decision on a proposal

Education:-

Must have strong engineering background and knowledge of the wind energy market

Core Requirements:-

  •          You will have 2-4 years experience in a sales environment preferably in the wind industry
  •          You will have experience working in a team and maintaining strong working relationships with customers
  •          You will have worked on the contract negotiations of large scale projects
  •          Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  •          Ability to manage multiple projects

General Requirements:-

  •          Ability to travel internationally as required
  •          You will be fluent in English (written and verbal)
  •          You will be a self starter with a proven track record working independently
  •          Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
  •          Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies and under the instruction of the head of the department

Key Skills:-

Wind Industry, negotiations experience, business development and sales of wind turbines or wind developments in is a bonus and team leadership.
