This project is seeking research assistants to help collect information about the endangered leatherback turtle. Research assistants will be trained in sea turtle monitoring techniques and get involved in a range of activities such as nest translocation and track surveys.
As well as monitoring work, research assistants participate in various educational and awareness activities in the local community.
Research assistants are needed between mid-March and late June, 2021, for a period of approximately 2 months. The application window closes on the 15th January, 2021.
Past Research assistants have gone on to work for conservation organizations, universities and government agencies worldwide.
There is no cost to participate and research assistants receive free board and lodging.
