This project is looking for research assistants for seveal sea turtle conservation programs. All the sites are important nesting sites for Leatherback, Green and Hawksbill sea turtles. Depending on the site the work ranges from beach patrols and hatchery work to sea grass monitoring and conducting in-water studies via boat. This project is particularly keen to recruit more males as research assistants as it is currently top heavy with females.
The project costs from £0 to £6 per day depending on qualifications and skills. In all cases, research assistants receive lodging, food, in-country transportation, training, equipment and supplies.
