This project seeks research assistants for a long-term field project on bonobos. The major work consists of daily walks in the forest following focal individuals from one habituated bonobo community, and collecting behavioural data as well as urine and faecal samples which will be used for later hormone analysis. Work duties also include entering the collected data in a computer for later analyses.
Research assistants receives free accommodation and food, a 300 Euro per month stipend, airfare for one domestic return flight, and a contribution of 800 Euro towards an international return flight and expenses for visa.
