Description |
This project is seeking research assistants to help collect information about the endangered leatherback turtle. Research assistants will be trained in sea turtle monitoring techniques and get involved in a range of activities such as nest translocation and track surveys. As well as monitoring work, research assistants participate in various educational and awareness activities in the local community. Research assistants are needed from early April to mid-June 2024 (group 1) and from mid-May to late June 2024 (group 2) for a period of approximately 2 months. The application window closes on the 15 January, 2024. Past Research assistants have gone on to work for conservation organizations, universities and government agencies worldwide.
