This role focuses upon the development of potential wind farm sites in England from the point at which land is secured, including designing the layout of the sites and submitting planning applications. Drawing up strategic project plans, negotiating with and influencing a wide variety of stakeholders, you will lead the Environmental Impact Assessment process and manage a team of consultants to achieve a high quality result.
Experience and knowledge of the planning system is essential, as well as the ability to manage a team of consultants and experts to achieve results. Ideally you will have experience in wind energy development or other associated commercial development activities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail are also essential and you will be self-motivated with the drive to achieve. The role will involve extensive travel within England.
