The Opportunity:

Two positions have arisen in the Renewable Energy Team, one based at our Stoke on Trent office and one at our office in Newcastle Upon Tyne, for experienced renewable and low carbon specialists. These are senior positions and the successful candidates will report directly to Directors of the Firm.

The successful candidates will be responsible for developing business in this sector, and expanding the workload across all of our regional offices. They will also be expected to provide specialist technical support to others, manage projects and budgets and give commercial input to fee proposals.

You:

The successful candidates will have the following attributes:

  • at least 10-years experience in relevant fields;
  • a proven track record in winning and delivering consultancy services in the Renewable Energy Sector;
  • a detailed knowledge of UK legislation and financial mechanisms in the renewable/energy sector;
  • knowledge of renewable and low carbon energy technologies including wind turbines, biomass, CHP, geothermal energy and solar PV that complements the exiting team;
  • strong management, project management and resourcing skills;
  • excellent presentation and report writing skills;
  • ability to work on their own initiative and also to work as part of a growing team.

It is essential that you are educated to degree level (or equivalent) with a first degree and/or masters qualification in a related discipline.
