Renewable Energy Originator

An alternative investment consulting firm specialising in growth sectors is identifying its incoming Originator in renewable energy deals sourcing

The business is focused on providing asset acquisition and asset management consulting in growth sector such as health-care, real estate and renewable energy. They are currently managing over JPY 50 Billion of assets.

The originator reports directly to the company CEO, will work closely with the partners and operation team to develop strategies around securing renewable energy deals. This role will be fully accountable for delivering project origination, regulatory compliance, permitting, driving due diligence, securing financing and assessing commercial components of project pipeline.

What they are looking for:

• Demonstrated success in developing strategies for new market development, particularly in emerging markets
• Experience in the Japan Renewable market within Business Development and Origination
• Strong experience developing and managing M&A, Origination and Project Development teams
• Extensive network of relevant developers, government and local stakeholders and financial partners
• Excellent track record of developing bankable energy projects, balancing risk and minimising loss to maximise return on investment
