SgurrEnergy has recently opened an office in Co. Wexford to serve the rapidly growing renewable energy market in Ireland as part of our ongoing international expansion strategy. Continued success has resulted in a newly created position for a high calibre, degree qualified renewable energy consultant to join our expanding team based in Ireland. This team is focusing on renewable energy projects within Ireland, both large scale electricity generation (wind farms, bioenergy plants, and hydro schemes) and on the microgeneration and building integrated sector including energy audits, energy flow modelling and assessments for communities, developers and local government. Job description The Renewable Energy Consultant will become an integral part of growing the business in Ireland. This is a busy and varied role and will involve but is not limited to the following:
This role would be ideal for a candidate with a degree in either electrical or mechanical engineering and a strong interest in sustainability and renewable energy systems. You should have excellent IT skills and be a logical thinker. The Renewable Energy Consultant needs to be highly driven, enthusiastic and have the ability to work independently. Candidates who are able to bring vision and commitment and be equally at home on a construction site or in the offices of senior executives are preferred.
