We are looking for a new person to join our campaign team. The new team member will be actively contributing to our energy transition campaign by giving life and meaning to our content and communication regarding energy communities.
The successful candidate on this position will be responsible for:

Implementation of campaigns in Bulgaria with focus on just transition to renewable energy and energy democracy;

Campaign planning and coordination – research, definition of campaign goals, development of the “dramaturgy” of the renewable energy campaign with focus on energy communities;

Collaboration on national, regional and international level – with international Greenpeace offices, and local stakeholders - participating in events, coordinating and preparing common positions and lobby efforts;

Public speaker´s function for Greenpeace campaigns – presentations, conferences; preparing blog posts, positions, interviews on topics, related to renewable energy and energy communities;

Contact person for Energy Democracy project in Europe – participating in weekly calls; providing updates on developments in Bulgaria; providing opinion and positions on common papers and when setting up strategies on regional level;

Implementing the activities of the Energy Democracy project in Bulgaria – organizing activities; participating in EU-wide campaign activities
You will need:
-
Genuine passion for environmental protection and enthusiasm for Greenpeace´s mission

Good understanding of and/or expertise in the field of renewable energy sources, RES market, technicalities or policies
-
Several years of campaign and media experience, a good track record in running and winning campaigns is a plus
-
Relevant knowledge about economic and political connections and expertise in energy-related issues; knowledge of energy systems.

Excellent rhetoric/communications skills and persuasive power

Excellent Bulgarian and English, written and spoken

University degree, preferably in technical, natural or social sciences

Availability to travel

Ability to lead, motivate and instill passion.

Full-time working hours (40h per week) under a labour contract.
The contract is for 1 year with a 6-months trial period and can be renewed for another year, depending on funding.
Gross salary range: 2200 - 2300 BGN
