The starting salary is £29,577 (Level One) rising to £31,346 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers). This vacancy, led by the Regional Energy Projects Manager, will become part of the regional energy project team for the East and West Midlands, aligning with the Midlands Energy Hub for which energy projects and programmes can be developed and delivered. Building on Nottingham's highly successful Carbon Reduction and Energy and Sustainability Division this post covers Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire LEP area, as well as working in partnership with the wider Hub region. The successful candidate will be employed by Nottingham City Council. Application are invited from across this geographical region, with Stoke and Staffordshire being the main place of work; there will also be the option for some home working as agreed with the line manager. This post will report to the Regional Principal Energy Project Officer who in turn reports to the Regional Energy Projects Manager.
