Regional Sales Manager, Ontario, Canada. $50K-$75K+Bonus

 

My client is a leading installer in the US solar industry. They focus mainly on commercial scale ground-mounted solar projects and rooftop systems. They are now looking to expand their operations into the growing Canadian market and as such are looking to recruit a to oversee the sales operation there and growth in the Canadian market.


Core Criteria:
My client is looking to recruit a regional sales manager to oversee their commercial scale solar PV project sales in Canada.

 

Responsibilities:-

  • Oversee project sales operation  in Canada.
  • Consulting with clients on cost Vs benefit ratios
  • Explaining the benefits of installing a solar PV system and the services and of the company
  • Will be expected to proactively source new clientele and generate new revenue streams
  • Develop and set up local strategic partnerships
  • Negotiating terms and closing deals
  • Ensure all deals meet revenue and margin expectations
  • Coordinate the sales team and manage the entire sales operations

 

Education:-

  • Must have strong educational background

 

Core Requirements:-

  • You will have at least 2-5 years of commercial scale solar PV project sales & business developemnt experience in the solar industry
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements in the solar industry in Canada
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • Proven track record in solar business development and growth
  • Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects

 

General Requirements:-

  • Ability to travel frequently to client sites
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities

 

Key Skills:-

Solar PV, negotiations and sales experience, business development and sales in comercial scale, team leadership
