This is an exciting and challenging leadership role in which the postholder will make a real difference for wildlife, people and ecosystems over a significant part of the United Kingdom's land surface. To lead the team managing the network of RSPB reserves in Northern England in order to maximise their effectiveness in delivering our corporate objectives for birds, biodiversity, people and income generation. You will be as passionate about leading excellent teams, managing systems, risks and money, and building external partnerships as you are about delivering real results for wildlife on the ground. You fully understand the relationship between the RSPB's customers, its business activities and the conservation work this supports.
