renewable power generation facilities and aims to vigorously grow its renewable energy capacity in
the UK and Continental Europe. In the UK, RWE npower renewables operates over 450MW of
wind and hydro capacity and is one of the UK’s leading renewable energy developers and
operators.  

RWE npower renewables is a growing organisation with a number of onshore wind energy projects
under development across this UK. These roles sit within the England teams, based in Harpenden,
Swindon and Barnard Castle and our Scotland team based in Stanley in Perthshire.

Main Purpose of Job:

You will have excellent communication, influencing, organisational and leadership skills. You will
be responsible for identifying core strategic issues and plan the growth of the Welsh business
region in all aspects of the development and delivery of new wind farms; these will range from site
identification and acquisition, through environmental assessment, wind farm design and financial
appraisal, to securing planning consents and project delivery.  

This is a delivery focused role which requires a high level of motivation and drive to deliver
challenging targets. It is essential that you are able to demonstrate a high level of commercial
awareness and strategic thinking in respect of wind farm delivery.
