Conservation International (CI), a global environmental non-profit based in Arlington, VA, is seeking a Regional Development Coordinator for its Seattle, WA, field office. The position provides administrative support for two regional development directors--one in Seattle and one in San Francisco. The position also provides administrative support for CI's Chairman/CEO when he is working out of the Seattle regional office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Regional Development Coordinator position actively maintains donor database records in CI's Raiser's Edge system, including recording all donor-related activities and information provided by the regional development directors.
  • The Coordinator also provides logistical office support for the variety of events overseen by the directors. When the Chairman/CEO is in the Seattle office, the Coordinator, taking direction from the Manager of the Chairman's office, performs a myriad of administrative and logisical tasks.
  • Additional job responsibilities include completing expense reports, executing regular mailings, and providing general office management support.

Working Conditions: Occasional evening work is required to support CI special events. At least one 3-4 day trip a year to CI headquarters in Arlington, VA, is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:  Bachelor's degree/ 3 years

  • The ability to work harmoniously with a wide range of personalities, to handle stressful situations with calm, to be proactive at finding solutions, and to work collaboratively with a larger team from CI-HQ in Arlington, VA.
