The Annapolis Office of Ducks Unlimited, Inc. has an opening for a Regional Biologist headquartered in Annapolis, MD. The incumbent will become part of a team of biologists, engineers and other professionals responsible for the protection, restoration and enhancement of wetland and associated habitats in the Mid-Atlantic region. Exact area of responsibility is flexible and dependent on the incumbent’s qualifications and professional working relationships within the region. Qualifications Duties and Responsibilities The Regional Biologist will write and submit proposals to various funding agencies, foundations and other funding sources to secure project funds and will also be responsible for the administration of these funds. In addition, the incumbent will promote DU’s accomplishments and needs to key DU volunteers and major donors. Establishing and maintaining good relationships with conservation partners and funding entities are essential. Overnight travel may be required as needed.
