About this Opportunity AIMS is embarking on an innovative, new unincorporated joint venture (UJV), by taking on the role of Managing Entity for the Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program (RRAP) Research & Development (R&D) Program. The program will test the limits of knowledge of reef science, decision-making and ocean engineering. It involves a wide range of partners, providers and stakeholders. The work is leading-edge, of vital importance to the nation, and will be conducted under intense public scrutiny and significant time pressures. Strong and effective program management is essential to the achievement of the RRAP R&D Program. Successful delivery of the RRAP R&D Program requires a dedicated program management team, underpinned by the required project management and administrative systems. Working across the AIMS Project Management Office and the RRAP Managing Entity Team, our RRAP Project Coordinator will design, implement, administer, and maintain the project management system for the RRAP Program. As a project/program management specialist, you will use your experience and expertise in managing projects and programs to assist with the successful delivery of the Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program. You will also work closely with RRAP Project Managers (both internal and external to AIMS) to ensure that all projects are entered, monitored, and reported through the RRAP project management system. About You Underpinning your suitability for this position will be your tertiary qualification (or equivalent industry experience) in a relevant technical discipline (for example: marine science, environmental management, or engineering), as well as your extensive experience in managing projects, programs or portfolios, involving multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional partners, within a research, engineering or consultancy environment.
