REC and Greenhouse Gas Broker, USA, Highly Competitive Salary

My client is a leading global supplier of finance and advisory services within the environmental space. They are currently looking to add an experienced REC and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) broker with a strong track record in the field to their dynamic and vastly growing organisation. Naturally, this is an opportunity in which you would be able to thrive and where there is a lot of potential for organic growth within.

Working for my client you can expect to have full control of your own portfolio and deals where you are solely responsible for maintaining your business and generating new revenue streams. You would have full access to the companies product portfolio to sell and would not be bound by any restrictions for any deals and therefore is potential for a high level of return.

Responsibilities:

Broking REC and GHGs

Put together structured and spot trades

Be knowledgable in dealing with profit and loss

Will deal extensively with financial products and PPA’s (Purchase Power Agreements)

Requirements:

Must have a proven and successful track record of broking renewable energy credits, greenhouse gas credits, both compliance and voluntary

Knowledge of PPAs, power/financial products, NOx, SOx, PM10, VOC, water, wastewater, and other environmental credit transactions is essential

Have an existing, transferrable client base

Must be adept at conducting market analysis

Be willing to work out of their offices in the US.
