Point Carbon, the leading provider of news and analysis for the carbon and energy markets, is looking for a Quantitative Research Analyst.

As part of the growth in a new business division we are now seeking a Quantitative Research Analyst.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical analyses
  
• Responsible for the data related part of the new production system
  
• Be the force to develop innovative algorithms
  
• Improve and expand our services for these markets
  
• Secure fast, reliable and accurate data

QUALIFICATIONS

 

• Excellent grades from university
  
• Excellent understanding of setting up and solving mathematical models
  
• Relevant education within physics, mathematics, electronics or information technology
  
• Knowledge in event generators, Monte Carlo, pattern recognition and databases
  
• A sense of business understanding
  
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
