Quality Control Manager. USA. 100% traveling

My client is a leading contractor for renewable energy projects in the USA providing preconstruction services through to project completion.   With a reputation for excellence they ensure that all projects are completed in a professional manor and in accordance to industry set standards.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all wind farm projects are completed in accordance to industry set standard. You will be responsible for maintaining quality throughout the construction phase as well as outlining corrective actions if quality is not achieved.

Responsibilities:-

• ·         Implement and maintain quality procedures
• ·         Regular review of quality standards to identify areas for improvement
• ·         Ensure that all work is completed in accordance to the quality plan and is completed within the given time frame
• ·         Produce quality audits
• ·         Tracking of completion
• ·         Produce and implement corrective actions
• ·         Responsible for providing quality training to project teams
• ·         Represent he company in a professional manor to clients

Education:

Educated to degree level in a relevant subject. (Engineering, Construction Management)

Core Requirements:

• ·         A minimum of 2 years working experience in a quality control position
• ·         Understanding of plans and specifications for civil, structural and electrical work
• ·         Proven ability to produce quality audits
• ·         Driving license
• ·         Willing to travel 100% of the time
