Quality Advisor

We have a vacancy for a Quality Advisor to assist in the co-ordination of all activities related to the implementation, development and maintenance of our client's Quality Management System (QMS).  The successful applicant will provide quality advice companywide and assist the Senior Environmental & Quality Manager in promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
Key duties will include:
- Assisting the Senior Environmental & Quality Manager in monitoring and facilitating company compliance to the FCL QMS and the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000 including the induction of new and existing employees into the FCL QMS and on-the-job quality training.
- Completion of Quality Planning Meetings for projects, support the establishment of sites and teams, and reviews on completion.
- Co-ordination and completion of internal quality inspections and audits
- Ensuring Inspection and Testing requirements are maintained throughout our activities
- Development of process maps of all activities and departments, seeking improvements in working practices.
- Supporting pre-qualification questionnaires and tender submissions
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline with previous experience in construction or a related environment. 
- A qualified Internal Quality Auditor with previous experience of completing internal audits. 
- Lead Auditor status beneficial but not essential. 
- An understanding of the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and an Associate member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) (formerly the IQA)
