Our client is a leading global precision engineering and manufacturing company. Rapid growth has created an exciting opportunity for a QHSE professional to join its team in the Halifax office. The main focus of this role will be to define, lead and implement the quality policy of the company as well as managing the quality system. Your systematic approach to root cause analysis and fault detection will be put to good use as you will represent the customers’ interests for all quality issues. In addition, you will provide relevant support to other departments and take an active role in raising the company’s HSE performance. It is expected that you will need at least 5 years experience in a quality management role. This should have included: ISO14001 and OHSE18001 in a coordination and/or management role, automotive quality standards/requirements, and around 3 years experience of working with Kaizen, Quality Tools and SPC. A HND or degree in a Quality or Engineering related subject is essential, along with strong team management and motivational skills.
