Q&E Systems Auditor

A Quality and Environmental Systems Auditor is required for a Construction Business based in Bristol. The appointment will require travel to the regional offices as well to the Projects within the regions. The successful candidate will report to the Quality and Environmental Manager and will work closely with the Regional Management Teams. Key Responsibilities are:
- To Audit Contracts, Offices and Departments to confirm that the HSEQ Systems meet ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001.
- To Audit Consultants, Suppliers and Subcontractors where required
- Reporting to and where appropriate deputising for the Quality and Environmental Manager
- To facilitate in the ongoing establishment, maintenance and improvement of a robust HSEQ System for the Company.
- To brief/train personnel on Q&E Systems
- To arrange and undertake Q&E Audits in the local geographical areas
- To maintain the Audit database
- To maintain and archive audit records
- To report to the Quality and Environmental Manager on progress
- To report any areas where the client's requirements conflict with any Contract requirements.
- To review systems to ensure where possible improvements are instigated.
- To prepare audit reports and monthly HSEQ reports
- To attend Regional Q&E forums as required
- Other functions as allocated by the Quality and Environmental Manager
Key Desired Competences
- Key experience in similar audit role within Construction Industry sector
- CSCS - Q&E Manager or similar
- Trained Lead Auditor
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
- Driving licence
