We seek a Public Lands Outreach Manager to be responsible for developing, managing and implementing media and special project efforts for NWF's Rocky Mountain Regional Center public lands campaigns. As part of this work, the position is expected to maintain and deepen the Boulder office's relationship with reporters, outdoor writers, coalition partners and NWF affiliates. The position will be part of NWF's national communications team, will spend part of his/her time working on national public lands policy issues and will participate in national communications meetings and calls. The Public Lands Outreach Manager will also be responsible for assisting with management and development of current and future grants. Specific responsibilities include administrative supervision of the Wyss public lands fellow in the Boulder office and assistance with grant writing, grant reporting and overseeing grant due dates. This position is currently funded by restricted revenues through November 17th, 2011; however, likelihood for continued funding is very good.
