Proposals Manager, Wind, South East

My client is part of a global organisation providing power generation and renewable energy services worldwide.  Due to continued success within the wind sector they are now looking to expand their wind division and have an immediate requirement for a Proposals Manager to join the team.

Position Overview:
The Proposals Manager  will be responsible tenders from initial enquiry through to handover to the project team, you will work closely with the sales & marketing team to ensure profitable growth within the business.  You will also have a proven track record in managing multiple projects and high work loads.

Responsibilities:-

• ·         Lead proposal process from initial enquiry
• ·         Manage the project cost calculation and communicate with the Commercial Manager to ensure effective pricing
• ·         Provide detailed instructions to the project team

Education:-

• ·         Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related education or training, or Business Administration or equivalent job experience necessary

Core Requirements:-

• At least 3 years relevant work experience in the wind power sector
• Ability to lead long term complex projects

• ·         A strong understanding of wind and construction sectors

General Requirements:-

• Ability to travel

• ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation
• ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
• ·         Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Key Skills:-

• Wind Power, Bid Management, Tender Management, Proposals Management, knowledge of the power generation and renewable energy sector
