Description

Global Nature Fund is an international non-profit foundation for the protection of environment and nature. The Headquarter of the private and independent charity is in Radolfzell at Lake Constance, Germany. GNF has been founded in spring in 1998 with the objective to foster the protection of nature and environment as well as animals.

GNF’s work consists mainly of

GNF is partner of a three years project, financed by the European Commission, which aims at the establishment of a trans-boundary NGO Master Plan of the Lower Jordan River, covering Israel, Jordan and Palestine. The Master Plan aims at laying the groundwork for effective trans-boundary water governance for integrated water resource management in the Lower Jordan River. The project wants to gain participation and inform both, local and international public, about the LJR’s condition, the threats, and possible solutions including economic, security, and political gains that a regional water governance model could provide. Global Nature Fund (GNF) brings a global approach to the project activities by ensuring best practices and experience on water issues in the context of the EU Water Framework Directive and other relevant EU policy tools.
