Description

£20,344.  37 hpw. Fixed term contract for up to 5 years (funding). Based at The Carnegie, Thetford.

The Brecks is a very special part of Norfolk and Suffolk. We need someone to undertake project delivery within a small team delivering a series of exciting heritage conservation and community engagement projects as part of The Brecks Fen Edge and Rivers Landscape Partnership Scheme (BFER).

Working as part of a small, motivated and dynamic team you will provide key administrative and finance support, maintain social media and websites and help co-ordinate project activities. As the first point of contact for BFER, you will need good communication skills as well as excellent administrative and IT skills.

This organisation positively encourages the use of technology to communicate and engage, but in this role you will need to operate across a wide and rural area, so you must either hold a full and current driving licence and have access to personal transport or meet the mobility requirements of the role through other reasonable and suitable means.

For an informal discussion only, please contact Nick Dickson on (01473) 264628.

Apply online at: www.suffolkjobsdirect.org or call 0345 601 4412 quoting the job ref.

Closing date: 23.30pm, 15 December 2019.

This authority is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS checks or police vetting will be required for relevant posts. Suffolk County Council - welcoming diversity.
