Project Planner, North Yorkshire, UK

My client is a market leading  renewable energy solution provider. They specialize in medium wind turbine technology and focus on feasibility, planning and instillation.

Position Overview:

A project planner is currently required who will be responsible for the delivery of planning applications for medium size onshore wind projects.

Responsibilities:

• ·         Managing  the delivery of planning applications
• ·         Providing support to the development team
• ·         Managing the post planning stage
• ·         Takeing a leading role with proposal and preperation of contracts
• ·         Assisting with the development of marketing initiatives and business development plans.

Education:

Strong Bachelors level degree in a relevant subject. (Town Planning, Environmental Management)

Core Requirements:-

• ·         Minimum of 3 years relevant working  experience
• ·         Experience writing and submitting planning applications
• ·         Accuracy in the delivery of documentation and works
• ·         Experience  dealing with local authorities

General Requirements:-

• A good understanding of the renewable industry

• ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
• ·         Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
• ·         Ideally you will be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute 
• ·         Ability to think outside the box
