Description

The Climate Group is seeking a talented individual with strong knowledge of the operating policy and regulatory landscape of India’s clean energy system. The post-holder will work on our energy transition initiatives, which aim to accelerate corporate demand of electric vehicles and renewable energy, and mainstream energy productivity within businesses. She/he will deliver on India-specific strategies working closely with partners, government and donors.  

The position will report to the Senior Manager - Energy Transitions. This role is suited for someone who has experience in policy research, is up-to-date with the clean energy space, has the desire to influence climate actions through business and governments, and has managed day-to-day project activities. 

While the post-holder will work across our corporate initiatives, her/his main focus area will be to drive electric mobility projects in India. Additionally, she/he will support the teams in maintaining corporate connections, doing programmatic research and strategy, delivering project outputs, reporting, fundraising and supporting communications.

Location: New Delhi

Contract: Full time, permanent
