Description

The Project Officer will support the Line Manager to effectively and successfully implement the TRAFFIC activities funded by the INL project which focused on improving China’s capacity on applying expertise in anti-money laundering (AML) approaches - powerful tools to tackle the illegal wildlife trade (IWT) that facilitates and is fed by wildlife crime.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Under the guidance of Line Manager, implement the project on combating money laundering and illegal wildlife trade in China.
•Provide technical support to project partners in collecting and organizing wildlife trafficking seizure data and AML legislations.
•Translate reports/documents/research findings/key information together with other project team members, partners, and consultants.
•Assist in the development of AML implementation guideline and TOT module for financial institutions/third-party payment platforms/enforcement authority.
•Plan, design and conduct webinar/training workshop/forum together with Line Manager, and partners.
•Prepare information reports on time sensitive data for dissemination to law enforcement.
•Monitor the latest update or progress of AML legislation.
•Work with relevant colleagues to collect and compile all available data and information on the status and issues related to project.
•Coordinate with Project Manager and other colleagues in documentation of project’s achievements.
•Assist in the preparation of three-monthly, six-monthly, and annual progress reports.
•Support the Communication officer in the production of press release.
•Other responsibilities required by Line Manager.
