My client is one of the leading renewable energy providers globally. They specialize in the manufacturing of crystalline silicon modules and are also a leading commercial and utility-scale solar PV developer with a strong market presence in Europe, the USA and the Asia-Pacific regions. As they are developing a number of large-scale PV project throughout the West Coast are looking to recruit a senior project manager to join their team.
Core Criteria:
My client is looking to recruit a senior project manager with a strong technical and commercial background and excellent understanding of grid interconnections.
Responsibilities:-
- · Prepare internal interconnection study including power flow analysis
- · Budget interconnection cost
- · Prepare Interconnection application package
- · Frequently communicate with local utilities on its transmission and distribution planning
- · Provide feedback to utility on interconnection study
- · Meet and screen developers and contractors to filter out quality projects
- · Manage development process from start to finish
- · Manage due diligence process
- · Developing new business relationships and managed the relationships with existing business partners
- · Liaise with relevant financial institutions
- Involved in day to day operation of multiple projects and crew management
- With the aid of technical assistants supervise all project development, financing, construction, and commercialization
- Manage and supervise all outsourced services and service providers such as legal, financial, and operational
- Site Survey, Rebate & Interconnect, System Design, Inspection, customer management and quotes
- Coordinated purchasing, permitting, and inspections
Education:-
- · Must have strong engineering background (electrical engineering preferred )
Core Requirements:-
- At least 5 years relevant work experience in the solar photovoltaic (PV) industry with a proven track record in project management of large-scale projects
- Excellent problem solving skills with a track record of developing solutions for utility-scale PV projects
- Hands on experience of power flow analysis
- Able to read SIS report
- Have relations with utilities

Key Skills:-
Solar PV, Engineering Background (electrical preferred ), large-scale PV projects, team leadership, grid interconnection experience, experience with utilities, understanding power flow analysis and SIS reports.
