Project Manager Offshore Execution (m/f)

The Project Manager Execution works for the department Project Management within the Business Unit Offshore. He is responsible for the planning and executing of the operative phase of offshore projects, from ex-works to the completely installed wind farm.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a sub-project team 
  • Project specific personnel planning
  • Interface between overall project management and site management/ commissioning management within an international project team 
  • Direct customer contact in all matters concerning the operative phase of the offshore projects 
  • Coordinate company-internal interfaces, e.g. Logistics, Research and Development, Purchasing, Service 
  • Plan and implement project specific site processes in close cooperation with Site and Commissioning Management 
  • Implement Health, Safety and Environment as well as Quality Assurance measures 
  • Reporting of progress, time, quality and costs to Senior Project Manager

Profile:

  • Degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, industrial engineering) or similar
  • Minimum of 4 years work experience in project management, preferably in plant engineering, offshore oil & gas or construction industry  
  • Good knowledge in Project Management incl. methods 
  • Knowledge and practical experience in work safety 
  • Fluent command of German and English, both written and spoken
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office and SAP  
  • Independent and target-oriented method of working 
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Reliability, conscientiousness, initiative and ability to assume responsibility  
  • High degree of flexibility, loyalty and assertiveness 
  • Appreciation of the dynamic nature of the offshore wind power market and the associated changes that may be required at a corporate level
  • Willingness to travel in Germany and abroad
  • Ability to work at heights and offshore (extended level G 41)
