Role ProfileZSL is looking for an experienced project manager to join its Conservation and Policy Department’s Marine and Freshwater Team. The successful candidate will manage the exciting and collaborative #OneLess project, delivering an innovative London-wide campaign to reduce the use of single-use plastic water bottles in London. With demonstrable high impact to date, #OneLess is taking a ‘systems change’ approach to tackle ocean plastic pollution at source and reduce London’s plastic footprint by changing the way Londoners hydrate and creating a more ocean-friendly society. Using the ‘flagship’ single-use plastic water bottle, #OneLess aims to systemically transform London and to connect people to the ocean; changing their perceptions, values and behaviour, and reducing the number of plastic bottles entering the ocean. The project manager will be responsible for driving the delivery of the #OneLess project and associated strategy, including management of the project assistant, and strategic development and implementation of campaign activities. They will be responsible for managing grant budgets, as well as administrative, financial and reporting requirements for this project. The project manager will work closely with the #OneLess project partners; Communications Inc, Forum for the Future, and the Thames Estuary Partnership.
